Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the physical packing, loading, unloading, shifting, and transportation services provided by Rajeev Transport (hereinafter referred to as "the Company," "We," "Us," or "Our") to the individual or business entity booking our services (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer," "You," or "Your").
By confirming a booking, paying an advance, or permitting our crew to begin work, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.
1. Scope of Physical Operations & Quotes
Custom Estimates: All quotations are based on the initial inventory, volume, floor access, and lift availability detailed by the Customer. If the physical quantity of goods, labor requirements, or travel distance deviates on the day of the move, the final invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
Access Limitations: The Customer must ensure that our transport vehicles (trucks/tempos) have legal and physical access to the loading and unloading premises. Any parking fees, society entry fees, or municipal penalties incurred during access must be borne by the Customer.
Right to Refuse Shifting: We physically handle heavy, delicate, and valuable cargo. We reserve the absolute right to refuse transportation of any item that our crew deems structurally unsafe, hazardous, or physically impossible to relocate without damaging the property or risking injury.
2. Customer’s Physical Obligations
To ensure a smooth shifting process, the Customer must physically prepare the site as follows:
Utility Disconnections: All electrical appliances (including ACs, geysers, washing machines, refrigerators, and television mounts) must be fully disconnected and uninstalled prior to our crew's arrival. Our moving team does not provide electrical or plumbing services.
Permits and NOCs: You are solely responsible for obtaining the necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs) or permissions from housing societies, local authorities, or building management at both the origin and destination points before the scheduled moving time.
Presence on Site: The Customer or an authorized representative must remain present during the entire packing, loading, and unloading process to physically supervise and sign off on the inventory list.
3. Strictly Prohibited Items
Our trucks and staff will not load, carry, or pack the following items under any circumstances. You must physically secure and transport these items yourself:
High-Value Personal Valuables: Cash, physical currency, jewelry, gemstones, luxury watches, stocks, and crucial original legal/financial documents.
Hazardous & Flammable Materials: Gas cylinders (empty or full), petrol/diesel canisters, firecrackers, paint thinners, matchboxes, acids, chemicals, or ammunition.
Perishable & Living Goods: Fresh food, meats, dairy, or live animals/pets.
4. Packing, Transit Risks, and Damage Claims
Packing Standards: While our team utilizes high-quality multi-layer packing materials, the physical nature of road transit carries inherent structural vibration.
Self-Packed Goods: We assume zero liability for any damage to items packed in boxes or containers by the Customer themselves, as we cannot verify the quality of internal cushioning.
Immediate Inspection: The Customer must physically inspect all delivered goods at the destination prior to our crew leaving the site. Any physical damage or missing items must be documented on the delivery spot sheet and reported to our office in writing within 24 hours of delivery. No claims will be entertained after our team leaves the delivery location.
Loss/Damage Valuation: In the absence of third-party transit insurance secured by the Customer, Rajeev Transport’s liability for any physical loss or damage caused by our crew's proven negligence is limited to a maximum of ₹2,000 or the cost of repairing the damaged single item (whichever is lower). We are not liable for internal electronic or mechanical failures of appliances unless external physical impact damage is visible.
5. Pricing, Deposits, and Payment Terms
Payment Schedule: Unless written corporate agreements state otherwise, the Customer must pay a 50% advance upon booking or before the start of packing, and the remaining 50% balance immediately upon the vehicle's arrival at the destination point, before unloading begins.
Withholding of Goods: If the balance payment is delayed, unpaid, or disputed at the destination, Rajeev Transport reserves the physical right to halt unloading and retain custody of the goods inside our vehicles or transfer them to a secure warehouse at the Customer’s expense until full payment is cleared.
Taxes: All government taxes, state border entry permits, and toll-tax receipts encountered during inter-state journeys are charged extra over the base quotation unless explicitly specified as "inclusive" in the written quote.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the move will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to 10% of the total estimated quote to cover vehicle holding and crew assignment losses.
Rescheduling: If you need to change your shifting date, you must notify us at least 48 hours prior to the agreed booking time. Rescheduling is subject to vehicle and crew availability.
7. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Delays)
Rajeev Transport is not liable for delayed deliveries, structural losses, or physical damage resulting from circumstances beyond our realistic control. This includes but is not limited to: road accidents, heavy traffic congestion, landslides, extreme weather, strikes, political blockades, state border closures, or law enforcement actions.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes, claims, or actions arising from our physical moving services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India only.
